Academic Program of Chemistry Degree Courses

 

The Italian academic program fully joins the Lisbon Recognition Convention elaborated by the UNESCO and the Council of Europe,  with academic degrees  being harmonised through the Bologna process.

The academic degrees are based on a three-level hierarchy: Bachelor, Master and Doctorate.

The Education program in Chemistry of the University of Milano-Bicocca includes:

FIRST CYCLE:  BACHELOR DEGREE IN CHEMICAL SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY (3 years – 180 credits)

SECOND CYCLE: MASTER DEGREE IN CHEMICAL SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGY (2 years – 120 credits)

THIRD CYCLE:  DOCTORATE DEGREE (3 years)

M.Sc. Degree Course – 2nd cycle (Corso di Laurea Magistrale). The entire representative block of the courses of the second semester of the first year are taught in English (exam in English or Italian on the basis of student’s preference)
